Tree Nursery Project

The land has been denuded of trees which were converted to charcoal. Raymond started a nursery to repopulate the area. It is noted that the area around the nursery has a lot of large trees, with some 60 ft tall and 20 inches in diameter. They are reluctant to harvest the trees because they look so lovely. The trees are their bank account. They can always sell a tree.

The nursery supplies about 100,000 trees a year which can be purchased for 2 cents apiece. The nursery is almost self-supporting.
