2018 Update from Raymond
June 23, 2018
It seems that God is not finished with Blessing us in Haiti.
Hart Foundation from Canada called and they were wondering if we had a project that they could help with? I didn’t know of anything, but told him I’d check with Kevin, my hired man in Haiti. When I asked him he said, “Oh yes, we need a clinic at Terre Rouge.” He said, “His parents have a nurse living with them and practicing out of their home.” He said, “If we had a clinic then they could get medical supplies from the government.” His father already had said they could build it on a piece of his land.
When I called them back in Canada they were excited. They said when we are ready to build it, they would send 2 or 3 men from Canada to help build it.
This is the area where God led us to 49 years ago. A man from this area, Joubert Hypolite, was the person we met at Gori. He later became our first ordained Minister in Haiti. Sometimes while walking together with Joubert in this area, we would come to a cemetery. He would say, “This is our clinic in Terre Rouge.”
We plan to go to Haiti next year, on June 17th. That will be 50 years since we went to Haiti the first time. Kevin is still building roads every day. He will soon move to Terre Rouge to work on the roads in that area.
It’s one drop of water at a time that makes the river run!!!
